Our Sustainability

At Alpha Transport, we are committed to operating our business in a sustainable and responsible manner. We recognize that our operations have impacts on the environment, the economy, and society, including human rights. As such, we have identified our Material Topics through a process guided by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and in consultation with our stakeholders.

Our primary Material Topics include air emissions, GHG emissions, climate adaptation, resilience, and transition, non-discrimination and equal opportunity, and public policy. These topics are critical to our business and our stakeholders and will guide our ESG strategy and focus. We also recognize the importance of our secondary Material Topics, including asset integrity and critical incident management, waste, biodiversity, water and effluents, and occupational health and safety, and we will address them in our ongoing efforts.

We have taken a comprehensive approach to our sustainability reporting, guided by the GRI and SASB reporting standards. We have measured our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and energy consumption and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. We are also working to improve our waste management and spill prevention and response practices.
